Growing up, I was never really exposed to journalists that looked like me. While representation in the media has gotten better since I was seven, there is still a lot of work to be done.

By contributing my thoughts and opinions to the conversation, I’m hoping to create a more diverse media that allows for everyone’s stories to be told as fairly and accurately as possible.

a little about me

I’m currently starting my second year at the Ryerson School of Journalism. I started this platform to make sure that people can hear the stories of those who aren’t always listen to, from a perspective they’ve never heard.
